Ausstellung "OVERVIEW" von Matteo Galvano von 16.4. - 13.6.
With “Overview”, Italian artist Matteo Galvano presents a captivating visual world between geometry, color, and movement at the PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes. The exhibition invites visitors to experience architecture as a living, dynamic landscape.
From April 16 to June 13, the PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes presents the exhibition “Overview” by Italian artist Matteo Galvano, curated by Roberta Macchia.
Born in 1983, Galvano has developed his distinctive artistic concept of “architAMORfosi,” in which structure and sensitivity, technique and intuition are intricately intertwined. His works combine precise architectural lines with expressive, fluid color compositions. Black, clearly defined strokes outline real buildings, placing them into new and unexpected relationships.
From this interplay emerges a dynamic visual language: layers of color flow, merge, and expand into vibrant drops and bursts. Geometry is no longer rigid but becomes an open, responsive system—alive with interaction and the vibration of color.
The compositions evoke landscapes seen from above, urban structures, or pathways unfolding through space and color. They create a sense of transition—as if lifting off the ground and observing the world from a new perspective.
In Galvano’s work, painting becomes more than a static image: it transforms into an experience, a journey, and a vision.
With “Overview”, the PANEUM invites visitors to explore this unique connection between architecture and emotion—and to rediscover their own perspective on space, structure, and color.
