Visitor Regulations for PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes
General Information
By purchasing an admission ticket or any other access authorisation, you accept the Visitor Regulations of PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes and the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of backaldrin The Kornspitz Company. The Visitor Regulations can be viewed and downloaded online at www.paneum.at.
Scope
The Visitor Regulations of PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes govern the legal relationship between visitors on the one hand and PANEUM on the other. In the event of a ticket being passed on, it is the responsibility of the previous purchaser to inform the new holder accordingly.
Conclusion of Contract
The customer’s order constitutes a binding offer, which becomes effective upon provision of all data required by backaldrin International The Kornspitz Company GmbH. All customer data transmitted during the ordering process will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties, unless required for the fulfilment of services.
Entitlement to Services
The customer is only entitled to services after full payment has been received. Offsetting customer claims against the purchase price claim of backaldrin The Kornspitz Company GmbH is not permitted. The customer is only entitled to services upon presentation of a valid ticket.
Ticket Prices
The prices of PANEUM as stated in the current price lists apply. The prices listed include the statutory VAT. PANEUM reserves the right to set prices deviating from the price lists in individual cases; such prices will be indicated on the respective tickets.
Return or Replacement of Tickets
Paid tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. No replacement can be provided for lost tickets or for tickets not used or only partially used.
Exclusion of Right of Return and Exchange
Returns of tickets are excluded except in the case of event cancellations. No refund of paid ticket prices will be made. Changes to exhibitions, programmes, or start times are expressly reserved and do not constitute grounds for returning tickets.
Cancellation Conditions, Number of Participants
If a reservation is cancelled less than one week before the event, PANEUM reserves the right to charge the full purchase price. If the guaranteed number of participants is exceeded, the actual number of visitors will be invoiced.
Cancellation or Changes to Exhibitions, Guided Tours, or Other Special Events
If an exhibition or other special event, the title of which is printed on the ticket, has been advertised in any way or for which tickets have been purchased for exclusive attendance, is replaced or postponed, PANEUM will not take back tickets already purchased and not used.
If such an exhibition or special event is cancelled without replacement, PANEUM will accept the return of tickets already purchased and not used.
Limited Access to Exhibition Areas due to Temporary Closures for Events or Conservation Reasons in the Event of Persistent Rain or Snowfall does not constitute grounds for returning tickets. Any closure due to weather conditions or events is expressly reserved by PANEUM.
Time changes or cancellations of guided tours or free events do not entitle the purchaser to return purchased tickets.
House Rules
Customers must comply with the applicable house rules. By entering the PANEUM premises, every customer acknowledges the house rules as binding. Each valid admission ticket entitles one person to visit the specified exhibition in compliance with the respective house rules. The valid admission ticket must be presented to supervisory staff upon request at all times. In the event of violations of the house rules or the above provisions, the customer may be excluded from the exhibition.
Copyright and Other Protective Rights, Image Rights (Terms of Use)
Without special permission, any image and/or sound recordings before, during, or after the event are prohibited for copyright reasons if intended for commercial use. Private recordings are permitted without authorisation.
In the case of television or film recordings, the visitor agrees that any images (photo, film, video) taken of them during or in connection with the event/exhibition visit may be used without compensation as part of standard exploitation.
Data Protection Guidelines
By ordering and using the services of backaldrin International The Kornspitz GmbH, in particular by purchasing tickets, the customer expressly agrees to the GTC. This includes consent to the use, processing, and transfer of their personal data to companies affiliated with backaldrin International The Kornspitz Company.
Right of Withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for contracts relating to the provision of services associated with leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period for performance. Therefore, when purchasing tickets for a fixed date or period, you are not entitled to a right of withdrawal, exchange, return, or partial refund. Every ticket order is binding and obliges you to pay for the ordered tickets.
Claims for Damages
Customer claims, regardless of the legal basis and in particular due to impossibility of performance, are excluded unless based on intent or gross negligence on the part of PANEUM. This limitation does not apply to compensation for personal injury, damage to items handed over for processing, or damages under the Product Liability Act (PHG). Entry to PANEUM is at your own risk. The operator of PANEUM accepts no liability for theft or loss of valuables during your visit.
Place of Performance, Applicable Law, Jurisdiction
Place of performance is 4481 Asten, Kornspitzstraße 1. Without prejudice to special jurisdictions for consumers, the competent court in Steyr shall have jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract.
Austrian law applies, excluding international conflict of law rules.
Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these GTC conflict with mandatory statutory provisions (such as those of the Consumer Protection Act), the remaining provisions shall remain valid. In place of invalid provisions, the statutory regulations shall apply where available. We reserve the right to amend and adapt our GTC at any time; changes shall only apply to future contracts.
