How do I get to the PANEUM?

Take the Asten/St. Florian exit and follow the signs. If travelling by public transport, take the No. 401 bus from the Linz main station to Asten. A detailed map is provided here.

When is the PANEUM open?

Tue-Sat 10h00-16h00 (last admission 15h00).

Closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays

Is the PANEUM open on weekends?

The PANEUM is open on Saturdays from 10h00-16h00 . On Sundays, Mondays and public holidays the PANEUM is closed.

Is an advance reservation required?

A group of 15 persons definitely requires a reservation to visit the PANEUM. A reservation is recommended even for an individual visitor.
Reservations can be obtained by dialing 43 7224 8821 400, or by email to empfang@paneum.at.

Can the PANEUM be visited without a guide?

Yes, you are always welcome to explore the PANEUM on your own. Every visitor will receive an audio guide which conducts you through the collection and provides interesting facts and history along the way. Audio guides are available in the following languages: German, English, Hungarian, Czech, Russian and Italian; the audio guides are included in the admission price.

Are parking spaces available?

Yes, parking spaces are available for cars and buses.

Is the PANEUM handicapped accessible?

A ramp is available at the entrance to the PANEUM and a wheelchair is also available inside. After consultation with the PANEUM team, the tour can be adapted for visitors with special needs.

Is food available in the PANEUM?

There is no food available at the PANEUM. Coffee and cold beverages are available from vending machines. Ask us about eating establishments in the surrounding area. We would be happy to provide assistance.

Are pets allowed in the PANEUM?

Unfortunately pets are not allowed in the PANEUM.

Can the PANEUM be rented for conferences or events?

Please contact the PANEUM team at 43 7224 8821 400 or by email at empfang@paneum.at for information about conferences or events.

Is bread available for purchase in the PANEUM?

Unfortunately not.

Does the PANEUM tour also include a visit to the backaldrin production area?

No, the backaldrin International facilities are not open to the public. We ask for your understanding.
