PANEUM at the Crust & Crumb
The PANEUM will make a second appearance at the Kruste & Krume bread festival, which takes place in Vienna’s Marx Hall on 23 March 2019.
In its fourth run, the successful Kruste & Krume (Crust & Crumb) bread festival again offers bakers from Austria and neighbouring countries a large stage. The event, initiated by Barbara van Melle, shows that the bakery trade has a future and that consumers value bread and bakery. The great interest demonstrated in recent years is certainly impressive proof of this. Therefore, the new venue, Vienna’s Marx Hall, now offers even more space for exhibitors, programme items and visitors. The PANEUM – Wunderkammer of Bread will again support the bread festival and have its own stand on site.
The full programme offers classics and innovations. Bread and pastries can be tasted and bought at the stalls in the bakery market, and the bakery show presents a live stage programme that shows what makes good bread. In the baking workshop, visitors can experience the bakery craft up close and see how the likes of Kaiser rolls and salt sticks are made. There are also various baking workshops and, for the first time, on-stage competitions for professional and hobby bakers. In addition, visitors can see an exhibition of traditional pastries customarily associated with special occasions. Here, the PANEUM and its founder company, backaldrin, also make a contribution with master bakers producing traditional baked goods.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at a price of €8.00 or at the door on 23 March at a price of €10.00. The discounted price of €8.00 is valid for scholars, students and pensioners and children up to 12 years of age will be admitted free of charge.
