On the 6th of October 2018, as part of the ORF Long Night of the Museums, the PANEUM invites you to regular tours, delicacies from Roman times and an Around Midnight Tour.
For the second time since 2017, the PANEUM will open its doors for the ORF Long Night of Museums, on the 6th of October 2018 from 18h00 to 01h00. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme around the topic of bread.
From 18h00, regular highlights tours will take place. At 19h00 and 21h00, you can experience bread history and stories first hand, when backaldrin company owner Peter Augendopler leads you on a tour through the Wunderkammer of Bread.
In the footsteps of the legionnaires at 22h30 Curator Anita Giuliani takes you on a journey through a special exhibition “Bread for the Legion – the Power of Grain”, which is also part of the Upper Austrian Provincial Exhibition 2018. Afterwards, delicacies from Roman times can be sampled.
Around Midnight Tour at 23h30 Around midnight, Peter Augendopler leads another tour through the house. He has prepared a few specials for his Around Midnight Tour. During an exclusive look into the PANEUM library, night owls can see him bring the second-oldest bakery book in the world out under the moonlight.
Original Kornspitz for all A limited number of tickets is available for these programme items. If you would like to reserve for a specific time slot, tickets will be on sale in the PANEUM from 09h00 on the 6th of October 2018. Children also need a place card. Regional tickets can also be bought at the PANEUM for €6.00. Admission is free for children under 12 (born after 6 October 2006). All visitors to the PANEUM can enjoy an Original Kornspitz, at least while stocks last.
