Reapers, confectioners and bread sellers in three-four time
Bakers and confectioners, bread sellers and reapers – 300 figures, and none like the other. With great attention to detail, the Meissen porcelain artists invented a new art form in the middle of the 18th century. Originally intended to be table decorations, the porcelain figures awaken a passion for collecting, which has not ebbed to this day. The first object of the PANEUM collection, a porcelain confectioner, has received plenty of company over the years and invites us to dive into a new old world – the wonderful world of bread.
